Your proven track record in sales combined with great relationship building skills will allow you to shine in this role.   In this key outside sales position, you will be responsible for prospecting for new business opportunities and upgrading existing customers. You will achieve 100% of quota through implementing creative sales strategies and performing extensive customer needs analyses.  To be successful in this position, you must be highly motivated and have a business development mentality – knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred, but not required.
 
We highly value experience selling in the Trades with HVAC/R or electrical, plumbing or some other distribution channel.  Past hires have included those that have worked at Supply Houses, Contractors who are wanting to get out of the field, or individuals who sell to large volume purchasing power customers that would have a need for our products.
 
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful outside business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the trades
  • Documented records of sales achievements and procurement of new sales/development
  • Superior prospecting and closing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of integrity
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office skills required with knowledge of inter-related databases (i.e. MS PowerPoint, Excel).
